Today we learned a whole lot of action words like Suno, Dekho, Bolo, Lekho, Utho, Betho, Bakro, Ghol Guma, Pio, and Kao. We were also singing a song to learn the parts of the face. We reviewed colors and numbers using fish that were all different colors. We also made a gingerbread man and used colored lentils to decorate it. We also practiced singing the Aaye Diwali song so that we can sing it really well for the parents on Friday.

Smelling Spices
Today we made a spice chart during craft time. Some spices are called Tej Patta (Bay leaf), and Star anise. We can all say our numbers from Ek to Dus - One to Ten. We also learned how to say where we live - "Mein Appleton mein Rahati hoon." We also reviewed our colors, and learned how to say which we like, and which we don't like.

Cricket
Today we played cricket in the gym because it is an indian sport, which is awesome. It is similar to baseball. We cooked pooris and "pooris acha hai" we liked them. "Mango juice and bheel puri acha hai" but it was spicy. We learned about family in class today. "Pita" means dad and "maa" means mom. Today was a fun day!

Hindi Class
Today we learned about and made Rangoli. Rangoli is a thing people hang outside their houses to welcome guests. We learned how to say "Aap kaise hain" and answer "mein tik hun" which means How are you, and I am fine. We drank chai tea and we liked it. We also learned our colors today. Today, the letters for this blog are blue - "neela!"
