Today we learned how to say hello in Hindi - Namaste. We also learned about lots of different holidays that people celebrate in India. There's Diwali, the festival of lights, and there's Rakshabandhan, where sisters tie a bracelet on their brother's hands, and the brothers give the sisters candy. We also learned the colors with the help of M&Ms. One color we learned is Neela, which means Blue.
